Satmar Opens Eighth Shul in Boro Park

Boro Park – The Satmar kehilla is opening its Eighth Shul in Boro Park, launching the chanukas habayis at a festive lichaim at the rebbe’s house.

The new shul, which will be located at 16th Ave. and 49th Street, will be led by Rav Tzvi Elimelech Teitelbaum, whom the Rebbe, Rav Aharon Teitelbaum of Kiryas Joel, named as Rav.

The event took place at the Rebbe’s home in Williamsburg.

Rav Teitelbaum is a grandson by marriage of the Rachmastrivka Rebbe and a longtime marbitz Torah in Boro Park’s Satmar kehilla.

The name of the new Beis Medrash, as decided by the Rebbe, will be Beis Medrash Tefilla L’Moshe D’khal Yeitav Lev, after the Yismach Moshe.
