Suspect Steals Cell Phone, Punches Man in Nose and Chest

 The NYPD is searching for a suspect who assaulted and robbed a 38-year-old man on Wednesday night at 10:55pm at 20th Avenue and 53rd Street. The man who was robbed was walking home, when he was punched in the nose and chest before his cellphone was stolen. 

   The assailant then fled westbound on 53rd Street, and the NYPD’s investigation is ongoing.

   The victim, whose condition is reported to be stable, was taken to Maimonides Medical Center for treatment.
