Lehaisaneg Creates Simchas Yom Tov for more than 100 Boro Park Families
Lehisaneg is a beautiful organization created for delivering packages to illness ridden Boro Park families to provide simchas Yom Tov in their homes.
The organization is run by two Boro Park yingerleit, Sholi Rosenblum and Sruly Glassman.
Mr. Rosenblum and Mr. Glassman couldn't stand by and watch as hundreds of ill people around them suffered. There has to be something we can do, they thought.
Especially during these trying times when COVID-19 continues to plague our community, the two knew they needed to get involved in providing for those in pain.
We have so many questions on how to get rid of the coronavirus, it's lasting effects, how to cure it... but realistically, those things are out of our control. Kindness, however, is in our control, and it is our job to take its power and maximize it.
Sometimes we don't realize how strong of an effect our actions have, we try to accomplish big things, have the greatest impact, but it's not always about that. To finish a puzzle, you need every piece; there is no one more important than the other.
Doing chessed doesn't have to be saving the world, it can be the small act of putting a smile on someone's face. Eventually, that small, seemingly insignificant puzzle piece will lead to the completion of a much larger picture.
Mr. Rosenblum and Mr. Glassman created Lehisaneg 4 years ago to use the power they encompass to be there for sick patients and their families. And now during Covid 19 they took it to the next level .
It's all a zchus Refuah Shleimah for Alexander Zisha ben Aliza, may the kindness Lehisaneg endures bring us one step closer to completing the enormous puzzle we call life.
