Gov. Cuomo Extends Indoor Dining Curfews to 12am

As COVID positivity and hospitalization rates continue to decrease, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said today that on April 19, indoor dining’s 11pm curfew will be extended to midnight.

The closing time for catered events will be extended from midnight to 1 am.

“We continue to adjusting the valve of economic activity in New York state,” the governor said today on a conference call.

At the same time, the governor cautioned New Yorkers not to get overconfident in their attitudes toward COVID.

“The disease is still very much with us,” Gov. Cuomo said. “We still see it escalating in some states, and countries.

“We won’t get herd immunity until we finish vaccinating everyone.”
