Boro Park Bar Shut Down for Lack of COVID-19 Regulation Cooperation

Over the weekend, sheriff deputies shut down a bar on 61st street and 9th avenue in Boro Park that entertained 281 people inside.

The bar was busted early Sunday morning at around 2:00 am.

In another instance, a bar in Queens was closed after they hosted more than 75 people inside, had an obstructed exit, exceeded the DOB occupancy, and operated under a revoked liquor license from 2019.

The city is enforcing these shutdowns and continues to do so as many establishments disregard COVID-19 regulations.
