Toldos Aaron Rebbe Visits Kollel Zichron Dovid Levi, Headed by Reb Volf Zicherman
As BoroPark24 has reported, the Admor of Toldos Aaron is now at the end of a three-week visit to the United States which encompassed the wedding of a grandchild, other family simchos, as well as visits to various communities.
Last Thursday, the Rebbe paid a visit to a highly-acclaimed outpost of Torah in the center of Boro Park, whose patron is especially close to him. Reb Volf Zicherman is the longtime Rosh Hakohol of Munkatch, a noted philanthropist, a Talmid Chochom, and author of the sefer Otzar Pla’os haTorah, and he invited the Rebbe to spend time with the illustrious chavrei hakolel.
Upon his arrival, the Rebbe inquired about the simanim in Shulchan Aruch that were being learned. Reb Volf explained that, although many kollelim begin with hilchos Shabbos, halachos that come up once a week, the laws of seduah and brachos are relevant every single day—something the evidently pleased the Rebbe.
The Rebbe, with his trademark warmth and effusiveness, spoke about the greatness of Torah learning, with toil, with consistency, and uninterruptedly.
The Rebbe distributed lekach to all the participants, and affixed a mezuzah in the magnificent kollel building. When he agreed to join the kollel for mincha, Reb Volf produced a rare Slavita siddur—famously printed by the sons of Rebbe Pinchos of Koretz, one of the most precious, and highest caliber volumes possible in the Chassidic worldview.
The kollel—under the leadership of the Rosh Chabura, Rav Yehoshua Geller, shlit”a, is known for producing elite talmidei chachomim of the highest caliber, and a true credit to the Boro Park community. The Rebbe’s visit is sure to inspire them and their Torah learning, for a long time to come.
