Thief Takes Off with Brand New Bike, Leaves His Old One Behind

A suspect appeared to exchange his bike for a newer one on Shabbos in Boro Park in the area of 15th Avenue and 41st Street.

Video footage shows the suspect riding his bicycle when he spotted a new bike in a front yard. He jumped off his bike, chopped open a U-Lock that secured the new bike to a gate, and took off with the new bike, leaving his old one in front of the house.

A police report has been filed.
