One Person Critically Injured In Early Morning Fire on 45th Street

A fire broke out early Sunday morning on the second floor of an apartment building,

Emergency services responded to the 911 call at 768 45th St, around 5:19 a.m, and found a fire in a second floor apartment.

The fire Department put the blaze under control by 6:00am, and soon after reported the fire extinguished.

One person suffered life threatening injuries, and was taken to NYU Lutheran Hospital by EMS.
