New Recipe: Italian Roasted chic peas

Prepare this nutritious and delicious snack to have when the cravings for something salty and crunchy strikes. This also makes a great salad topper or soup crouton.
1/4 cup olive oil
15 oz can chickpeas
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon oregano
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1: Preheat the oven to four hundred degrees. In a small bowl combine the oil, salt, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, and black pepper.
2: Pour the chickpeas in to a ziploc bag, add the oil mixture, and toss until fully coated. Spread on a baking sheet and sprinkle with parmesan cheese
3: Bake for fifteen minutes, mix, and bake for an additional five minutes
Note: for a parve version, substitute the parmesan for nutritional yeast or simply omit
