Former New York City Mayor and President’s Attorney Rudy Giuliani Tests Positive for Coronavirus

By Yehudit Garmaise

President Trump’s lawyer and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who for the past several weeks has been pressing the case that the 2020 election was rife with fraud, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The 76-year-old former mayor of New York is considered at high risk for complications from the coronavirus due to his age.

Giuliani, who has been traveling the country, as he leads the way in the President's legal battle to overturn the results of the election, was mostly recently seen last Thursday in Atlanta to attend a Georgia state Senate hearing on the November election.

In a tweet, President Trump wished Giuliani well by calling him “by far the greatest mayor in the history of NYC.” Trump also thanked his lawyer for “exposing the more corrupt election (by far!) in the history of the USA.”

“Get better soon Rudy” the president told Giuliani, who then, cast the former’s mayor’s illness as it is relevant to his claims of fraud in 2020 election. “We will carry on!!!”
