F Train Services Resume

F Train Services Resume

By BoroPark24 Staff

After a 7-month restoration project, the F Train, which services between Lexington-63rd and Queensbridge and runs through Boro Park, has finally resumed services as of 5AM on April 1st.

The train has been closed since August when it was shut down for some much needed repairs. The MTA worked to build a new track between 47th and 50th Streets by Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, and 36th Street in Queens. This was part of a $92 million project that improved the F, E, and J lines with 37,000 feet of new tracks.

The new tracks are said to provide a more comfortable ride for passengers.
