This week’s moment features a very famous building in the center of Boro Park, which serves as an institution of learning as well as multiple catering halls. The site has served as a school for more than one hundred years.

Answer to last week’s Captured Moment: 

The beautiful Beaux-Arts design stands out on this building, currently the Kosher Food Depot at the corner of 13th Avenue and 42nd Street. It has served as a retail location for more than eighty years, and its owners have thankfully preserved the beautiful architecture for another generation of shoppers.
