BDE: Rebbetzin Mindel Margolies-Weiss, a”h, Principal of Satmar Girls School

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Rebbetzin Mindel Margolies-Weiss, a”h. She suffered a massive heart attack over Shabbos and was nifteres at the age 66. 

The nifteres hailed from Rabbonim and Admorim, and was the daughter of the Rudnicker Rebbe of Los Angeles. 

She was married to Rav Mendel Margolies, the son of the Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Temimah. She served for many years as the menaheles of Beis Ruchel D’Satmar girl’s school. Here she was mechanech the girls with heart and soul, leaving a lifelong impression upon them. 

Rav Mendel was niftar during Covid, and the nifteres remarried, ybl”ch, Rav Leib Weiss, Uheler Ruv, a few short months ago. 

As noted, she suffered a heart attack and was nifteres shortly thereafter. 

The levaya will take place Sunday at 1:00 at the Sigheter Beis Medrash on 50th Street.
