BDE: Reb Yosef Salomon, z”l

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Yosef Salomon, a longtime askan in the Boro Park community, and a  talmid chochom of note. 

Reb Yosef was the son of Reb Eliyahu Salomon, and was a longtime resident of Boro Park. 

He was an ardent Spinka Chossid, and was exceptionally close to the Admorim of Spinka in Boro Park, and was also a neighbor to the shul on 56th Street. In addition, he was the president of the Zidichoiver Shul in Boro Park, and was close to the current Rebbe as well as his father, zt”l. 

The niftar was active in the Iggud Harabonim, and would attend its meetings which were often held in Boro Park. 

He suffered from illness in recent years, and was niftar over Shabbos, leaving behind beautiful Torah generations. 

The Levaya will take place today at 12:00 noon at the Spinka Shul 1466 56th Street.
