18th Ave Deli Robbed at Gunpoint, Suspect Fled the Scene

Last night at around 8:15pm, a corner deli on 18th avenue and 61st street was robbed.

The suspect entered the deli shop displaying a firearm. The cashier jumped to the side leaving the register unattended and the suspect then took off with $500 cash and another few items, before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a male between 5'8" and 6'0" tall. He was wearing a gray baseball hat, a gray collared shirt, blue jeans, and a gray knapsack.

The employee was slightly injured and was treated at the scene.
