Four Car Thieves Arrested Week After Vehicle Stolen

Boro Park – A wild ride through Boro Park and Sunset Park ended Monday afternoon with the arrest of four thieves and recovery of the vehicle they stole.

A car was stolen at approx 5am from 11th Ave. and 58th Street last week. A resident driving recognized the vehicle on Monday cruising down 9th Avenue and contacted Shomrim. The driver realizing he was being followed took off, with the three accomplices as his passengers inside.

Shomrim members arrived and followed the car until 2nd Ave. and 55th Street where the car was stopped by police who then arrested the four suspects.

The car was returned to its owner.
