Worldwide WhatsApp Outrage Partly Affects US

New York -A worldwide outage of the messaging WhatsApp app has partially affected users in the United States.

Hundreds of people have reported problems sending and receiving messages on Sunday morning, principally in Europe. Parts of Asia and South America also face severe disruption.

In New York, several people have complained of delays in the service.

WhatsApp is the world’s most popular messaging app, with more than 500 million users each day. A report earlier this month revealed that WhatsApp is also the worst-hit platform for internet shutdowns.
