Unlucky Robber flees with One Dollar to be Caught Only Moments Later
An armed suspect robbed a person on Wednesday, shortly after midnight, threatening the victim with a gun.
The robbery occurred on 9th Avenue and 39thStreet and to the robber’s bad luck, the victim only handed him a $1 dollar bill after which the suspect fled.
The victim immediately called police, who arrived quickly and canvassed the area for the suspect who was located just a few blocks away. Police officers recovered the firearm, and the suspect was taken into custody.
