Stop Sign Installed on Boro Park Intersection With History of Accidents

Boro Park – An intersection in Boro Park that has been the scene of several accidents had a stop sign installed by the department of transportation.

Workers put up an all-ways stop sign on the corner of 16th Ave. and 62nd Street, which is within a block of three large girl schools – Bobov-45, Bais Sura and Bais Brocho High School.

There have been several accidents on the intersection over the past few years. The sign is part of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Vision Zero campaign to lower traffic fatalities.
