Serial Thief Caught After Stealing Multiple Packages

Boro Park – A thief who went on a robbery spree Sunday morning was caught after he was followed by members of Shomrim.

An eyewitness called Shomrim to report that that he saw a man stealing a package that had been placed by a delivery truck in front of a home on 9th Ave. and 47th Street. Shomrim members arriving at the scene and began following the perpetrator.

The thief slowly made his way to 5th Ave., stealing more packages from house stoops along the way. He even sold one of the packages as he made his getaway.

The suspect was nabbed on 5th Avenue and 50th St where he was arrested by police.
