Parked Car Smashed in, Two Full Wallets Stolen

Boro Park – A vehicle parked overnight was smashed in and had two full wallets stolen by the time the owner returned late Sunday afternoon.

The car owner told BoroPark24.com that he parked his car at about 1:50 a.m. on Sunday in front of the Sparklyn car wash located at 1901 47th Street, on the corner of McDonald and Parkville avenues.

“When I came today at 4:30 p.m., I was shocked to see the window was knocked down,” he said. “At first I thought it was a car accident. But when I checked inside my car I found out that it was actually a robbery.”

Two wallets the owner described as “loaded with credit cards and $1,000 cash” were stolen.
The owner said that a friend of his told him that a neighbor recently parked his minivan in that same area and something similar happened. In that incident, $8,000 was stolen.

If Anyone see the suspect is asked to call Boro Park Shomrim at 718-871-6666
