NYPD Releases More Identifying Footage from anti-Semitic Incident in the Heart of Boro Park

As a result of their diligent work in prosecuting hate crimes against our community, the NYPD has released surveillance footage identifying one of the perpetrators of an anti-Semitic hate crime that took place on December 25, on 13th Avenue—in the heart of Boro Park, as BoroPark24 reported at the time.

The attack occurred on Wednesday, December 25, at 1:00 a.m., when an individual age 40, dressed in Chassidic garb was walking in front of 4723 13th Avenue. Three thugs jumped out and blocked his path. The individual identified in the new footage then struck him a blow to the face—completely unprovoked—and then ran off.

The Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the perpetrator, who, as seen in the uncovered surveillance footage released this afternoon, made his way to the subway station on New Utrecht Avenue after his attack on an innocent Jew walking home.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or the Boro Park Shomrim at 718-871-6666.
