Yeshiva Torah Vodaath Hosting Events in Memory of Departed Gedolim

Brooklyn - The passing in a single day of two venerated gedolim created a void in the Olam HaTorah. Yeshiva Torah Vodaath is hosting two events to honor their memories.

The atzeres for Rav Dovid Soloveitchik zt"l, the long-time rosh yeshiva of Brisk and last surviving son of the Brisker Rav, will take place at 3:15 Wednesday afternoon in the main Torah Vodaath beis medrash.

Maspidim will be the roshei yeshiva, Rav Yosef Savitzky and Rav Yitzchak Lichtenstein, the latter of whom was a talmid of the rosh yeshiva. Also bring maspid is Rav Moshe Cynomin and Rav Moshe Scheinerman.

The atzeres for Rav Yitzchak Scheiner zt"I, the rosh yeshiva of Kaminetz in Eretz Yisroel and a former talmid of Torah Vodaath, will take place this coming Monday at 9 p.m.

Maspidim will be Rav Savitzky and Rav Lichtenstein, as well as Rav Shlomo Mandel, the rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva of Brooklyn, and Rav Zalman Pinchos Quinn, a maggid shiur in Torah Vodaath.

Both events will be streamed live on Kol Halashon.
