Worldwide Yom Tefillah Called by Badatz Yerushalayim 10:00 EST

The Badatz Eidah Hacharedis of Yerushalayim called for a worldwide yom tefillah, uniting the entire globe in prayer for the welfare of Klal Yisroel, which finds itself in an eis tzarah in these days. 

The yom tefillah is called for 10:00 EST, 4:00 in the afternoon in Eretz Yisroel, and will bring together Yidden from throughout the world. 

Many yeshivos and chadorim will be interrupting their learning to join in tefillah, and minyonim will be held in shuls throughout the Tri-State area, reciting the particular kappitlach of tehillim that the Badatz has outlined. 

A letter that the Beis Din has issued designating the Yom Tefillah concludes with the hope that “the davening of the tzibbur will invoke Heavenly mercy at a time when it is so much needed, and that Hashem will listen to the those united in prayer, pouring out their hearts in the hope of salvation—with the ultimate arrival of Moshiach.”
