With the Help of Shomrim, NYPD Arrests Five Trespassers on 63rd St.

By Yehudit Garmaise

On 63rd St. this evening at 5pm, four men and one girl, who are approximately 20 years old, walked into an empty church building that soon will be knocked down and replaced with the new Gerrer Cheder.

After noticing some shining flashlights in the dark night and people entering the deserted building, a Boro Park resident who lives nearby called Shomrim.

Shomrim volunteers arrived on the scene immediately and notified the police, who quickly arrived and arrested the trespassers.
