Wintry Weather Coming to NYC on Monday
A wintry mix of ice and freezing rain will arrive in New York City on Monday morning and will stick around for about 36 hours.
The National Weather Service issued a snow alert beginning 8 a.m. Monday, when icy temperatures will set in. The moisture is forecast to go on until Tuesday afternoon. But the frigid conditions will be with us through the week.
New York City’s sanitation department is preparing salt spreaders and plows to clear the roads.
