Wells Fargo Customers Report Issues Accessing Funds and Making Payments

Nearly 1,000 users have reported issues with Wells Fargo's banking system Thursday, many taking to Twitter to seek help for declined ATM cards and problems transferring funds.

"Our technical teams are aware that some customers have been experiencing intermittent issues when submitting real-time payments and may need to resubmit," the bank tweeted in reply to a customer reaching out to express their concern on Twitter. "They are working on resolving this as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused."

Another Twitter apology read, "We are very sorry for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused you. Our technical team is aware of the issue and are working to resolve this. We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation."

None of the apologies, no matter how politely worded, have offered any assurance to desperate customers who need access to their funds sooner rather than later.
