Two Train Incidents in Just Days in the Area

Boro Park commuters in recent days might have experienced delays in their subway trips to and from work as two separate incidents in the area caused extreme delays.

The first one took place two days ago when a man fell on the tracks at the 9th Ave station and was struck by an upcoming D train, leaving him in stable condition while recovering in Maimonides Hospital.

Yesterday afternoon, a 17-year-old was struck by a G train at the 4th Ave station in Park Slope and sadly passed away from the injuries. This caused heavy delays on many lines running through that station, including the D and F lines, which affected Boro Parkers at the time.

Such incidents have been on the rise in recent months, as subway safety is a hot topic as well, leaving subway riders more worried than ever before.
