Two Suspects Apprehended Following Double Robbery

Two suspects were arrested by the NYPD with the help of Shomrim, after two separate robberies on Monday night.

The first robbery occurred shortly before 10pm when four suspects approached a person while brandishing a weapon and asked for money on East 7th Street near 18th Avenue.

The victim immediately called Shomrim whose volunteers followed the suspects closely. While being followed, the four suspects robbed an elderly women on Newkirk Avenue near Ocean Parkway.

Immediately after the second robbery the four suspects attempted to flee but were chased by Shomrim, while two of them managed to escape, two others were apprehended by Shomrim and the NYPD.
