Trump Advising Americans to Avoid Gatherings of Over 10 People

Washington – President Trump on Monday recommended that older people stay home and that all Americans avoid crowds of over ten people as part of sweeping guidelines meant to battle a surge of coronavirus cases.
The president’s coronavirus task force released the guidelines as financial markets lost all gains since Trump took office in January of 2017.
The task force is also recommending that for the next 15 days, schools should close and all nonessential travel and social visits should be avoided. If anyone in a household tests positive for the virus, everyone who lives there should stay home.
“If we do a really good job,” Trump said during an appearance in the White House briefing room, the pandemic could pass by July or August.
“We will rally together as one nation and we will defeat the virus,” Trump said. “We can turn the corner and turn it quickly.”
