Jewish names with biblical origins are trending across the United States, according to a study done by Word Finder that used name data from the Social Security Administration.
Nationally, the name Naomi has seen an 80,960% increase over the past thirty years, Noah a 133,130% increase, Jeremiah 18,550%, and Isaiah 12,340%.
When studying names that trended from 2012-2022, New York's top three girls' names have been Chaya, which rose by 1,34%; Esther, which rose by 1,040%; and Miriam, which gained 1,048% in popularity.
Trending boys' names include Moshe, which saw an increase of 1,105%, and Abraham, which gained 1,100% in popularity.
