The Heimishe community is reeling from an unspeakable tragedy that unfolded on Shabbos afternoon when a horrific car accident on Ocean Parkway near Quentin Road claimed the lives of a 35-year-old mother and her two young daughters, ages 8 and 6.

The woman’s 4-year-old son was also struck and remains in critical condition, fighting for his life at a local hospital.

The devastating crash occurred just after 1:00 p.m. as the family was walking home from shul. In an instant, their peaceful Shabbos turned into horror when a vehicle - driven by an individual with a suspended license - plowed into them, killing the mother and her daughters instantly.
