Tonight at 7:00 PM, a crucial meeting will take place at the Amico Senior Center (5901 13th Avenue, 3rd floor, entrance on 59th Street). The Department of Social Services will present a highly controversial proposal to build a shelter at 5001 10th Avenue and 1016 50th Street. The shelter would house 82 families with children, raising urgent concerns about its impact on the safety and stability of Boro Park.

This is the community’s last chance to make its voice heard before a decision that could alter the neighborhood forever. Officials will be present to listen to residents, and this is the moment to demand answers and express concerns.
