TONIGHT: Faltishaner Beis Din to Gather in Tribute to Pillar of Hora’ah

The Karlsburger Beis Din, under the leadership of Rav Yechezkel Roth, zt”l, was an institution in Boro Park that has served as a source where hundreds of Morei Hora’ah in Klal Yisroel have learned and trained for their roles in disseminating clear halacha to their communities.

 They have absorbed both the Torah genius of Rav Chaskel; the Torah that he taught them through his familiarity in every area of Torah, as well as by observing an Ish Elokim Kadosh who had nothing in this world other than the “four cubits of Torah,” an approached the calling of serving as a posek with great temerity and awe.

 As we mark the conclusion of the shiva of Rav Chaskel zt”l’s passing, there is no one more bereft than his talmidim who forged their path under his guidance.

 To this end, the Faltishaner Av Beis Din , Rav Yitzchok Stein, shlit”a, who was a part of the Karlsburger Kollel and Beis Din for three decades, will headline an atzeres of reflection into the enormous loss, and into the greatness that has been vanquished with the passing of this great luninary.

 In addition to Rav Stein, other pillars of the halacha community will share their own reflections and experiences in the glow of th karlsburger Rov; including the Ga’on Av Beis Din of Faltishan, Rav Mordechai Stein, the Debreciner Dayan, Tenka Rov, among others.

 The event will take place this evening at 7:30., at Khal Avnei Shayish Faltishan, 1133 49th street.

 It is open to the entire community who have, directly or indirectly, been guided by the light of Rav Yechezkel, zt”l.
