TODAY: Skulener-Yerushalayimer Rebbe to Visit Native Boro Park

The unity between the sons of the previous Skulener Rebbe, zt”l, who returned his pure soul to its maker two-and-a-half years ago, has been heartwarming to witness—as they go about perpetuating, expanding, and building upon, his holy legacy.

 Following his passing, his son, Rav Shmiel Mordechai Portugal, shlit”a, who had served as the Rov of the Skulener Kehillah in Boro Park, was crowned as the Rebbe of the chassidim in Yerushalayim. He relocated about one year ago, and today, Tuesday, he returns to Boro Park for a visit.

 A kabbolas ponim will be held for the Rebbe this evening at 9:45, at the Skulener Shul in Boro Park, and he will also be receiving people.

 This visit has generated much excitement within the community and without.
