On Jan 15, 2001, Wikipedia, one of the most viewed websites
in the world was launched.
The massive online database of information on almost every topic has an average of 18 billion page views per month! The article topics you’ll find on Wikipedia widely range from art and culture to geography, history, health and so much more.
A group of volunteers known as Wikipedians are constantly writing
and editing content in 325 different languages and adding about 590 new
articles per day.
