Thousands of children gathered for a day of fun and joy on 18th Avenue, which was closed off along a number of streets for this event.
In addition to numerous performers and musical guests—completely free of charge—the Boro Park Jewish Community Council utilized this event to encourage and promote good health practices in the community. A number of booths offered health screenings and important information on health awareness and lifestyle—an ongoing project of the BPJCC.
Avi Greenstein, the CEO of the Boro Park JCC, told Boropark24: “To see thousands of local children thoroughly enjoying themselves was deeply heartwarming, and made the months of toil and preparation worthwhile.”
The event was sponsored by Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein, who said: “Thousands Participated this afternoon in another Family Fun Extravaganza sponsored by my office, along with BPJCC, in Boro Park. The smiles on these kids’ faces are priceless, and says it all!”
