Thieves Steal Safe and Documents in Broad Daylight

On Wednesday at around 11:00 AM, two individuals forced their way into an apartment on East Second Street and Avenue F.

Inside, they made off with a safe containing $500 and important documents before fleeing the scene on foot. 

The robbery took place in broad daylight, but luckily, no one was hurt. Authorities are working to gather more information and review security footage to help identify the suspects.

The NYPD is asking the public to share any information that could help catch the thieves. They stress that even small details could be important.
