Teenager Struck by Car Refuses Hatzalah's Assistance

A teenage boy riding a bike on 12th avenue and 43rd street was struck by a car in front of the local fire department and refused assistance from Hatzalah, who was immediately at the scene.

After Hatzalah, the local Sheriff Department showed up, several minutes before any NYPD officer or FDNY firefighter did- a highly unacceptable commonality.

The injured boy gave no reason for refusing help; he merely waited for someone else to show up.
