Suspect in Slew of Boro Park attacks Apprehended

As Boropark24 reported: on Wednesday, May 19, an individual spend the day on 36th street near Fort Hamilton Parkway perpetrating assaults on Jews, and a Jewish school.
Boro Park Shomrim was immediately on the scene, gathering surveillance footage and taking witness accounts, and providing them to the NYPD, which had been investigating these incidents as a hate crime.
Late Friday afternoon, Boro Park Shomrim announced that the suspect has been apprehended—bringing his reign of attacks on innocent Boro Park to a halt.
Surveillance footage captured the first incident, at 9 AM, when the suspect—with a light complexion, wearing a gray hoodie, assaulted a chassidic man standing beside his car using his phone. Around 4 AM, the same individual is seen setting fire to a pile of garbage outside a Yeshiva located on that same block.
The suspect was apprehended at his home by the FDNY marshalls who were working the case, due to the fire the suspect had set.
Boro Parkers can now breathe a bit easier as they into Shabbos, knowing that the perpetrator is no longer prowling our streets.
