Suspect Arrested for Stealing Wallet Outside 18th Avenue Subway Station

A 29-year-old male was arrested earlier on Friday for stealing a wallet for an elderly woman outside the subway station on 18th Avenue.

The suspect reportedly grabbed a wallet from the 79-year-old woman around 12:00pm as she was walking down the subway steps.

He was arrested by the NYPD for a 4th degree grand larceny.
