Suspect Arrested for Shoplifting from Walgreens on 18th Ave

A suspect was arrested by the NYPD with the help of Shomrim volunteers after shoplifting from the Walgreens pharmacy on 18th Avenue and 62nd Street, Friday afternoon.

The suspect filled up multiple shopping baskets with items from the pharmacy shelves and took off with the baskets, fleeing the store without paying.

The manager called Shomrim, and after a quick search, the suspect was located just a few blocks away with all the items, the NYPD was immediately summoned and arrested the female suspect.

All the items were returned to the store.
