Sudden Squall Turns Boro Park Into a Winter Wonderland

Boro Park – Now you see it, now you don’t A sudden snow squall enveloped Boro Park at about 5 o’clock this afternoon, turning the neighborhood into a white winter wonderland for several months.

A snow squall is described as a sudden moderate to heavy snow fall with blowing snow and strong, gusty winds. The weather could be referred to as whiteout conditions. It is different than a blizzard in that it is localized and usually passes through very rapidly.

Boro Park saw about a half inch of snow.
