Stolen Vehicle Recovered After Car Tracked Remotely

Boro Park - A remote tracking device helped a car owner have his stolen vehicle returned to him.

A Boro Park resident contacted Shomrim on Sunday afternoon, saying that his car was stolen. It was parked early Saturday morning on 13th Ave. and 55th Street. He had a remote tracking device that located his car in Marine Park.

Shomrim discovered footage of the thief walking slowly toward the parked car, opening the door and driving off. Shomrim volunteers from Boro Park along with volunteers from neighboring Flatbush divsion went to the location where the tracker pinged and recovered the vehicle.
