Shomrim Announces New Phone System for Shul’s to be Used in Case of Emergency

Following the recent uptick in violent anti-Semitic incidents in many Jewish neighborhoods, the Shomrim organization has announced a new Shabbos emergency phone system for Shul’s.

The phone will have 3 preset buttons that’ll connect you to a 911 operator, the local Shomrim hotline or local Hatzolah. The emergency phone system will save time and assist in getting quicker response times in case of emergencies.

The service is said to cover NYC and many surrounding areas that already have Shomrim coverage, or Chaveirim of Rockland.
