Shomer Shabbos re-opens after historic closure.
After an extended closure due to restrictions imposed by the government in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the iconic Shomer Shabbos shul on 13th Avenue in Borough Park has re-opened.
Since its opening in 1918, the shul has never been closed for such an extended period of time. Despite the thousands and thousands of tefilos missed in the shul, the minyonim will now once again take place 24 hours a day.
Now that it is once again open, all social distancing and cleaning precautions required by the government will be in place. Masks will once again.
