Shocking Video: Violent Confrontation Outside HeartShare Facility, Raising Alarming Concerns

By BoroPark24 Staff
Concerns have been growing among neighbors regarding a HeartShare home, a group for adults with developmental disabilities, located at 19th Avenue and 54th Street. Residents report frequent fights and an alarming number of emergency calls in the area.
Families living nearby describe a troubling pattern of shouting, throwing objects, and people aggressively fighting and chasing each other into the street. Police and ambulances are often called, yet the individuals involved frequently allegedly return to the facility soon after.
A recent video shared with BoroPark24 has sparked significant attention, showing a heated and violent confrontation between multiple individuals, one of whom appears to be wearing a nurse's uniform - though this has not been confirmed. Neighbors have reported seeing nurses involved in similar incidents.
One neighbor shared their experience: “It happens often, and too often. Sometimes it’s calm for a few weeks, but other times it’s daily. Kids have been traumatized by witnessing these incidents, waking up in the middle of the night with nightmares of things they’ve never been exposed to before."
"While many of the adults in this group go about their daily routines and even shop in local stores, a few individuals are considered seriously dangerous, putting the entire neighborhood at risk," a neighbor noted.
The area, home to many young families, is becoming increasingly unsafe. “All it takes is one small misstep for a serious incident to occur,” one neighbor stated. “It’s just getting worse every day. We’re all waiting for something bad to happen if things don’t improve soon.”
