Seven-Car Pileup Shuts Down Prospect Expressway Near Church Avenue

A multi-vehicle accident involving seven cars occurred this morning on the Prospect Expressway near Church Avenue, caused by slippery conditions from the inch of snowfall earlier today.

Emergency responders, including FDNY and EMS, are on the scene, attending to the situation and ensuring public safety. While no details have been confirmed about the extent of injuries, the incident has caused significant traffic disruptions.

As of now, the highway is closed to traffic in both directions. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes until further notice.
