Second Snow Storm Shaping Up for Sunday

Boro Park - New York City is just starting to dig out of one powerful storm when models show another shaping up for this weekend.

A system arriving Sunday morning is forecast to dump up to half foot of snow on the city by the time it turns to sleet and rain later in the day, predicts weather enthusiast Yakir Biegeleisen. The icy weather means that the moisture will freeze on the ground, offering dangerous conditions drivers for and pedestrians.

The weather will turn cold on Friday night, with temperatures in the 20s, but only after sleet and rain moves thru our area Friday between 8 am till 2 pm. It will remain frigid through next week.
