School Bus Erupts in Flames Moments After Children Exit

A school bus erupted into flames on 23rd Avenue and 80th Street. Due to the quick thinking of the driver, the children were all evacuated in time. 

BoroPark24’s reporter was on the scene and spoke with the driver, who said he noticed something wrong with his minibus and quickly dropped off the children. A few minutes later, the bus burst into flames with no one injured, thankfully. 

A large FDNY response was on the scene of what was the third blaze in Boro Park in a 24-hour span, following the car fire at night and the house fire at midnight.
